TVHS Girls Soccer: Lady Vikings Takedown Peru 5-0

Tippecanoe Valley girls soccer grabbed their first win in dominate fashion against Peru on Tuesday night.
The Vikings were lead by freshman Juli Ruiz who recorded a hat trick. Freshman Rylee Thompson, and Cynthia De La Luz also added scores in the match. As a team the Vikings recorded 16 shots on goal.
In the net for Valley was Jetta Hughes who pitched a shutout collecting 4 saves.
After the match coach Tricia Sederholm had this to say about her squad.
“We are building a team at Valley, my goal is to teach a love of a game I grew up playing. The win last night is nice and well deserved by this hard-working team, but not the only goal this season.”
The Vikings first win moves them to 1-4 on the young season.
